Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the VA Coons website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Breeding Services and Adoption

2.1 Kitten Availability

All kittens are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Kitten selections are made in the order deposits are received.

2.2 Health Guarantee

All kittens come with a health guarantee covering genetic defects for a period of two (2) years from the date of birth. This guarantee does not cover:

• Injuries caused by accidents or negligence
• Illness due to improper care or nutrition
• Parasites or infections contracted after pickup
• Conditions resulting from failure to follow veterinary care instructions

2.3 Spay/Neuter Requirements

All pet-quality kittens must be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age unless breeding rights have been specifically purchased. Proof of spay/neuter must be provided to VA Coons.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve a kitten. Deposits are applied toward the total purchase price.

3.2 Final Payment

Final payment is due in full before kitten pickup. Accepted payment methods include cash, certified check, or approved electronic transfer.

3.3 Late Pickup Fees

Kittens not picked up within 7 days of the agreed pickup date will incur boarding fees of $25 per day.

4. Return Policy

If for any reason you cannot keep your VA Coons cat, we require that you contact us first. We maintain the right of first refusal on all cats we breed. Under no circumstances should our cats be surrendered to shelters or rescue organizations without our knowledge.

5. Breeding Rights

Breeding rights are sold separately and require a separate contract. Only cats sold with explicit breeding rights may be used for breeding purposes. Unauthorized breeding of pet-quality cats is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

6. Privacy and Photography

By adopting from VA Coons, you consent to the use of photographs of your cat for promotional purposes on our website and social media. If you prefer your cat's photos not be used, please notify us in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

VA Coons' liability is limited to the purchase price of the kitten. We are not responsible for any consequential damages, including but not limited to veterinary bills beyond the scope of our health guarantee.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Caroline County, Virginia.
